We engaged Phoenix's GenAI services team to help us refine and propel an AI strategy that keeps us at the competitive forefront of the mortgage industry. Within one month, we gained organizational alignment on the vision, prioritized a list of practical AI use cases focused on reducing costs and increasing efficiency, and launched the first genAI self-service tool for our staff.

All members that I have worked with are always helpful in resolving or researching the issue at hand. The collaboration of the team members is always great. Super resourceful individuals. Always willing to go the extra mile.
PhoenixTeam played a big role in my plans to reimagine our team. Their support with long overdue production, workflow, business metrics and visibility is a huge step to get us closer to our goals.
Implementing complex lending logic in Salesforce is one of our specialties. We led the enhancement of our client’s existing Salesforce CRM while kicking off a full Org-to-Org migration. In the first week, we delivered a new onboarding solution for business partners and began establishing Salesforce development and configuration best practices. True to the Phoenix way, we ensured knowledge transfer and self-sufficiency so the client could confidently manage and support the system after our engagement ended.
MISMO engaged us to lead the implementation of its Innovation Investment Fee initiative. We provided end-to-end project oversight—developing process diagrams, documentation, roadmaps, key metrics, and executive dashboards. With over a decade of trusted partnership and deep mortgage expertise, we helped drive the initiative forward. Our ability to rapidly assess, implement, and test MISMO data standards was key to the project’s success.
After SAFe implementation, our client turned to us to bring its full value to life through strong technical and solution architecture leadership. We aligned architectural strategy across streams and teams, tripled the size of the architecture group, and drove internal improvement through OKRs. From roadmap design to PI planning, hands-on coding, and end-to-end testing, we led by example—building an Agile architecture culture that solves complex problems with clarity and purpose.
When a top mortgage company needed training on delivering value at scale, they turned to us for expert guidance. We tailored our Scaled Value Delivery workshop to their needs, blending product management, Agile, SAFe, and change management principles. Over four days, we led hands-on, experiential learning that united cross-functional teams around shared goals. Participants learned to craft vision, align across roles, and deliver value efficiently. One attendee called it “hands down, the absolute BEST training I have received in 15 years.”
USDA requested our mortgage transformation brains and brawn two years into a Salesforce Community and Government Cloud implementation. With our passion for rural homeownership, we answered the call. Within a year, we delivered the new Guaranteed Underwriting System using the updated Uniform Residential Loan Application and FNMA DU specs.
What once was a multi-step, fully manual process to transmit lender data to the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), is no more. Our team engaged with the VA to design a revised, one-step process for lenders to send data to the VA. We protoyped and developed mockups for a refreshed lender user interface in addition to ensuring we remain in full compliance 100% of the time.
Modernizing VALERI for VA Loan Guaranty was a tall order. Using industry best practices, we were the gatekeepers of quality for our agile development teams. Utilizing a hybrid approach of manual and automation testing, we were both the check and the balance that our program demanded.
Midway through USDA’s Guaranteed Underwriting System (GUS) implementation, the Agency shifted to Fannie Mae DU MISMO 3.4 v1.8.1 for easier adoption. Phoenix joined to lead end-to-end testing—developing strategy, scripts, defect tracking, and reporting. Our role quickly expanded to full functional story testing in partnership with the Rural Housing SFHNO team. Within a year, GUS was live, and we ensured SFHNO had the tools to sustain high-quality UAT going forward.
When VA Loan Guaranty needed a trusted partner to modernize their servicing oversight system (VALERI-R), they turned to us to plan, design, and deliver 508-compliant training to thousands of servicers and 350+ VA staff. We led virtual sessions, recorded 10 on-demand modules, and created hands-on Salesforce sandbox exercises. To support ongoing learning, we built a comprehensive online User Guide using Salesforce Knowledge. This training played a key role in the successful 2019 launch of VALERI-R.
LGY engaged us to automate insights across their loan program, replacing a manual loan file review process that limited oversight. Partnering with industry leaders, we delivered a pilot integrating lender APIs, transforming and storing data, running business rules, and building a Power BI dashboard prototype. We led cross-VA and lender collaboration, applied Agile and SAFe practices, and defined industry-aligned requirements. The pilot laid the foundation for automating UCD file exchange and delivering real-time analytical insights.
